When you are preparing for the CPA examination, there are several different things you need to consider. From choosing a CPA tutor to study materials and understanding the guidelines, there are many things you should be accurately knowing. Here are a few questions you should ask to gear up yourself to pass the CPA exam on the first attempt. What does the CPA exam comprise? There are four separate sections in the CPA test, each of which covers the main categories in public accounting: Auditing and Attestation (AUD) Business Environment and Concepts (BEC) Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) Regulation (REG) Each section of the CPA exam will take four hours to complete. You need to score a minimum of 75 marks in each section in order to pass the exam. You will have to pass all four sections within 18 months.
